Same box.
Very different rules.

The hardware does not change between a convenience store and a care home. What changes is which models are loaded, where the zones are drawn, what counts as normal at 2am, and who gets woken up.

01 — Retail & convenience

Shrink is the entire business case.

A convenience store, an auto parts counter or a liquor shop already has cameras covering every aisle. What it does not have is anyone watching them during a shift. Nexovia turns those existing feeds into the thing the owner actually wanted when they bought them — something that says now, not something that confirms it afterwards.

  • Concealment and theft sequences on aisle cameras
  • Behind-the-counter and stockroom zones during trading hours
  • Register-area rules for voids and sweethearting patterns
  • After-hours presence on the storefront and rear door
  • Person-of-interest tracking for repeat offenders across visits

02 — Assisted living & care

The twenty minutes before someone walks past.

A fall found immediately and a fall found twenty minutes later are, medically, two different events. Cameras in communal areas and corridors already exist in most facilities for liability reasons. Pose-based fall detection turns that liability equipment into a response system.

The dwell window matters enormously here — a resident lowering themselves into a chair must never page a nurse. That threshold is the first one worth getting right on any care site, and it is yours to set.

  • Fall and prone-posture detection with configurable hold
  • No-motion dwell alerts in communal areas
  • Restricted room and plant-room entry
  • Exit-door monitoring for wander risk
  • Clip attached to every alert so responders arrive informed

03 — Warehouse, yard & logistics

Perimeter after hours. Process during them.

A yard has two completely separate security problems on the same cameras. Overnight it is a perimeter question, and any human inside the fence is the event. During the day it is an operations question — which bay has been occupied too long, who walked into the racking aisle without hi-vis, which door was propped open.

  • After-hours perimeter and fence-line presence, IR capable
  • Dock and bay dwell against expected turnaround windows
  • PPE compliance in designated zones
  • Restricted racking and plant-room entry
  • Propped-door and tailgating detection at controlled entries

04

Schools & campus

Perimeter and entry-point coverage outside teaching hours, crowd density at chokepoints, and restricted-area rules for plant rooms and roof access. Cross-camera tracking matters here more than anywhere — a campus is many cameras and one continuous space.

05

Fuel & forecourt

Forecourts run 24 hours with one person inside. Drive-off patterns, loitering at the pumps, after-hours presence at the air and vacuum bays, and shop-side theft on the same Hive as the forecourt cameras.

06

Self storage

Mostly unstaffed, mostly empty, and entirely dependent on knowing who is in the corridors after hours. Zone rules per building, presence detection outside access windows, and a tracked timeline for any subject who moves between blocks.

07

Municipal & public space

Council depots, car parks, community buildings and civic sites, usually with a large pre-existing camera estate and no budget to replace it. Nexovia layers onto what is already installed rather than requiring a capital replacement program.

08

Hospitality & venues

Back-of-house stock areas, cellar and store rooms, staff-only zones during service, and after-hours presence once the building is locked. Crowd density at entrances during busy periods.

09

Trade counters & builders merchants

High-value stock in open yards, mixed public and staff movement all day, and a perimeter that is impossible to fully fence. Yard presence rules overnight, and zone rules around the high-value racking during trading.
