App privacy notice.

The Nexovia app is a window onto your store's own Nexovia device — the Hive installed at your site, which records your cameras and detects events. Footage and detections live on that device. The app shows them to the people your store has given an account, over an encrypted connection. It runs no ads and no analytics, and nothing in it is sold.

Who decides what.

Your store runs the cameras

The business that installed Nexovia decides what its cameras record, which features are on, who gets an account, and how long footage is kept. It is the operator of its cameras. If you were recorded and have a question about that footage, the store is the right first point of contact.

The store is the operator

Nexovia provides the device and the app

Nexovia Security Solutions makes the on-site device and this app. We do not run the cameras and we do not browse anyone's footage. If you can't reach the store, emailprabhjeev@nexoviasecuritysolution.com and we will help you reach them.

What the app handles

Everything, and where it lives.

The right column is where it is stored.

Camera video
Live and recorded footage, snapshots, clips. Streamed from your store's device to show you live cameras, recordings and the evidence for an alert. The app keeps no copy, except a file you choose to save to your phone.
STORE DEVICE
Detections
Events such as "possible weapon", "possible fall" or "walk-out", and the AI's description of them. Produced on your store's device. They are AI-generated and can be wrong; review the footage before acting.
STORE DEVICE
People features
Person photos, persons of interest, face matching and appearance search, only if your store turns these on. Used to find a person across cameras when your store asks it to. Questions typed into the Assistant are answered by your store's device.
STORE DEVICE
Your account
Username, name, role, and email if your store added one. Used to sign you in and to show you only what your role allows.
STORE DEVICE
Your session
The sign-in session and your store's address. Encrypted with a key held in your phone's secure hardware. Never backed up and never copied to another phone. Deleted when you sign out or uninstall.
YOUR PHONE
Push token
A Firebase Cloud Messaging token, subscribed to your store's topic. Lets your store's device tell the app "check for new alerts" instantly. The message says only that; it carries no footage, no event details and no personal information. The app then asks your store's device directly.
GOOGLE
App settings
Notification choices, quiet hours, a short list of recent alerts this phone showed. No footage and no event text.
YOUR PHONE

The app does not collect your location, contacts, your phone's photos, microphone or camera, and it uses no advertising identifier.

When footage leaves the device

Only when a person sends it.

Evidence and report emails

Someone at your store can email an incident's evidence, or have the device email its daily report, to addresses they enter. These are sent by your store's device through the mail service your store set up.

Recipients chosen by the store

Links for the authorities

Your store can send a link to an incident to an investigator by email. The link stops working after the number of days chosen (7 by default) and can be revoked at any time.

Service providers · security

Who else touches it.

Two service providers

Cloudflare carries the encrypted connection between the app and your store's device. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers the "check now" signal. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. We disclose it to no one else unless the law requires it.

No sale · no ad sharing

How it is protected

HTTPS only. The app signs in only to Nexovia addresses, so a look-alike site can't collect your password. On the lock screen an alert says only "New alert at your site"; the picture appears after you unlock. Screens that show footage or people can't be screenshotted or screen-recorded.

Encrypted · locked down
Your rights

Ask, and we will act on it.

Footage of you, or your account

Ask your store to delete footage of you or to remove your account; store owners can turn off or remove staff accounts in the app. If you need help, emailprabhjeev@nexoviasecuritysolution.com.

Access, deletion, correction

You can ask what we hold about you, and to have it deleted or corrected, atprabhjeev@nexoviasecuritysolution.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, the EU or the UK) you may have further rights; we will honour them and will not treat you differently for using them. We acknowledge within 10 business days and answer within 45 calendar days.

The rest

Everything else worth stating.

For the retention period your store chose; the app shows it under Settings › System. Footage an incident needs can be held longer by the store. Signing out deletes the session from your phone, and uninstalling deletes everything the app stored on it.

Yes, in the app (Settings › Notifications) or in Android's settings. If you do, the app shows a banner saying alerts can't reach this phone.

No. It is a business tool, not directed at anyone under 16, and accounts are created only by a store's own staff.

The effective date at the top changes with it, and a change to what the app handles or who receives it will be stated here rather than quietly revised. Last updated 8 October 2026.
